The Firm
CryptoNest was established in 2008 as a private investment office focused on measured, structured capital programs for private clients and family offices. We began allocating to digital assets in 2014, after several years of building the operational controls that now underpin our service.
The firm operates with a deliberately narrow mandate: offer a small number of clearly defined term programs, distribute earnings on a fixed schedule, and report every position and movement to clients without ambiguity. We have maintained the same operating principles since inception — independence, segregation of duties, and transparency.
Our structure
Responsibility for client assets is divided across distinct functions so that no single individual controls both the assets and the records that describe them:
- Investment Committee — selects program terms and distribution schedules, and oversees portfolio construction.
- Custody & Operations — manages settlement wallets and performs daily reconciliation of every position.
- Compliance & Risk — administers client onboarding, KYC/AML verification, and ongoing monitoring.
- Client Services — handles relationships, account servicing and correspondence for each client.
Where we serve
Our registered office is in London, with client desks in New York and Singapore. We serve private clients across 17 countries and communicate in English, with account documentation issued in the client’s electronic statement.
Independent character
CryptoNest is an independent firm and is not part of any banking group. We do not lend client assets, do not pool program assets with our own capital, and compensate our team through fixed professional fees rather than commissions on client activity.
